Safer Internet Day 2016

On Tuesday, February 9th we will join more than 100 different countries in celebrating Safer Internet Day 2016 to promote a better internet. This will be the thirteenth year of the event and this year’s call to action is, ‘Play your part for a better internet’.

Health Promoting Schools Update

Following discussions over the last few meetings and based on the returned surveys from parents, staff & students we have decided to concentrate our efforts this year on promoting health eating in our school.
We felt like this would be a good worthwhile area to begin with as we are about to move into our new school building with our new canteen and we would like to be involved in designing the menu options for our school.

Deele College Notes

Parents’ Evening: The school hosted two very successful Parents’ Evenings this week, with parents of students in 1st, 2nd, TY and 5th Year given the opportunity to discuss the progress of the students during the academic year. There was a large turnout and the school would like to thank all parents who attended over the course of the two nights.
