Time Capsule: Last Friday the Deele College Time Capsule was buried and will not see the light of day until 2065. Commissioned as part of the school’s 50th celebrations, it was scheduled to be buried in 2015, but was deferred until now so that it could be placed inside the new extension.

It contains nothing of intrinsic value but a wealth of information about school life in 2015. Students, staff and parents all contributed to its contents which hopefully will amuse and enlighten those who access them 49 years from now. Social historians of the future will be glad of this “snapshot in time”.
