It was an historic occasion at Deele College today, as they celebrated the official opening of the school’s new €3.5 million extension, which has provided the local area with a state of the art educational establishment.
Minister of State for the Diaspora and International Development, Mr Joe Joe McHugh T.D. was the guest of honour and it was the minister who officially opened the school along with CEO of the ETB, Anne McHugh and school principal Mr Joe Boyle.

The night of the Kube was a great success. Hundreds turned out and the atmosphere was wonderful. The contestants were picked out by Peter McDaid, the MC, in teams of five.

Maynooth University recognised the achievements of some of Ireland’s brightest and most promising first-year students at a celebration on campus Tuesday, 8 November, awarding 84 Entrance Scholarships to students who achieved 525 points or more in the Leaving Certificate examination.

The official opening of Deele College’s new extension will take place on Monday, 21st November 2016 at 10.30am. The opening will be performed by Mr Joe Mc Hugh T.D.
An invitation is extended to all parents. However, due to limited space in the Sportshall, we regret that it will not be possible to accommodate more than 100 parents (approximately).
