Deele College senior Gaelic football team strolled past Mulroy college by a score of 4-13 to no score to get their league campaign off to a good start.

The match began at 12:30 and Deele got on top with an early point from half forward Kenan Gibson who kicked a nice point with his left boot to give Deele the lead. After that it was all Deele with no response from Mulroy who didn’t seem up for the match. Deele continued pressing Mulroy who struggled to even get out off their own half for the entire game. Deele’s four goals came off the boots off Simon McGlynn, Dylan McLaughlin(2) and Michael Gibson.

After the match Deele manager Mr Paddy Flood said “It was our first match and I wanted to see what the team was like. We played very well and I was happy with the performance. Our next match is away to Moville and I think this will be a bigger test than the match today.”
