The bean tasting competition
A few brave volunteers from 2F -Eoin Callaghan,Matthew Clarke, Erin Coll and Michaela Duddy -took part in an experiment as part of their Media studies in English class. All claimed they could identify a leading brand of baked beans in a blind tasting situation.
Their task was to taste 4 different brands-two of the market leaders and two brands from large discount retailers-and mark them under three headings-appearance,texture and taste. To everyone's surprise 3 of the 4 volunteers failed to correctly identify what they each claimed was their "favourite" but did express a preference for another market leader. The cheaper discounted brands were easily identified as such.
Brave as the volunteers were it was noted that the really brave ones were the students who had to sit behind them for the following classes!

Pencils and plates at the ready: bring on the beans.

Decisions,decisions...three heads are better than one!
