Deele College has been granted permission by the Department of Education and Skills to appoint a Design Team to develop the next phase of our school building programme.

Design Team have completed the initial stages of their process in developing possible options and costings that has been submitted to the Department of Education and Skills. This latest development programme will greatly enhance the school facilities.

Deele College consists of 29 x traditional classrooms and the following specialist rooms:

  • 3 x Computer Suites
  • 3 x Science Laboratories and a Science Preparation Classroom
  • 2 x Home Economics Rooms
  • 2 x Materials Technology
  • Woodwork Rooms
  • 1 x Metalwork Room
  • 1 x Music Room
  • 1 x Art Room
  • 2 x Career Guidance Offices
  • 1 x Behaviour for Learning Room
  • 2 x Safe-base Classrooms
  • 1 x Student Canteen
  • 1 x Sportshall and Fitness Suite
  • 1 x GAA Pitch
  • 1x Soccer Pitch
  • 1 x Flood lit All-weather Pitch

The proposed extension will see the addition of 4 Safe-base Classrooms and 2 x Metalwork rooms. There will be a redesign of a number of rooms and the overall school layout will also be changed during this building programme to accommodate this work.
