During the period April 9th -20th this year, third year students all over Ireland completed Junior Cert Culinary Skills Exams whilst presenting their coursework options for examination also. Here in Deele College we have been lucky enough to have wonderful third years showing off their skills.
The skills on show have been many and varied. From knife skills, timing skills, presentation skills and textile skills the list of talents is endless.
The exam itself lasts 1.5 hrs with each student preparing 2 dishes under the watchful eye of an external examiner. The coursework completed for examination here in Deele College comes from either the area of textiles or craftwork.
A huge well done to all those involved including all the families who had their children so well prepared for the day. Some pictures to show off their great cookery with more to follow.
