Parents Association
The function of the parents association is to promote a spirit of co-operation and good will between school management, staff and parents where the education and welfare of students are concerned. Here at Deele College the Parents Association has been running successfully since November 2004. All parents/guardians of students attending Deele College are automatically members of the parents Association.
Meetings take place 3 to 4 times during the school year. Our principal Mr Mc Gowan and Home School Community Liaison Co-Ordinator Ms Ryan attend the meetings. Effective school partnership can result in major gains in a students achievement levels. Not all parents feel comfortable about approaching the school for information or if they have worries. The parents association meeting is a relaxed environment where you can come along and just sit and listen or take part in the discussion, either way you will go away knowing more about what is happening in the school and feel more involved in your child’s education. This is not a fundraising group
