GAA ROUND-UP
This year’s senior boys Gaelic football team has performed well in a high division. In two tight games we beat Moville and lost narrowly to Scoil Mhuire Buncrana. We must top the group to make the final. Unfortunately our key return game against Buncrana was postponed recently so any progress must wait until after Christmas.
Congratulations to Emmett Catterson who was on the Donegal Vocational Schools team which beat Tyrone by two points in the Ulster semi-final. The Ulster final will be played after Christmas. Well done also to our school team captain Patrick McGhee who narrowly missed out on making this high class team after a series of trials.
Our under 16 team has yet to begin its campaign, with a number of games being called off due to poor weather.
Similar to our senior team, the under 14s have beaten Moville but lost to a very strong Buncrana team. Qualification for the knockout stages will be decided after Christmas
