The night of the Kube was a great success. Hundreds turned out and the atmosphere was wonderful. The contestants were picked out by Peter McDaid, the MC, in teams of five.
They were all put through their paces in the first half playing a variety of games.
Then the contestants and audience took a break for tea and refreshments. The second half saw the fastest players go through culminating with two finalists, teacher Paddy Flood and student Oran Higgins.
Oran was the eventual winner taking home €1,000 for the 2M class.
The total profit raised by the night was €9,000 for future extra curricular events. A huge thank you to you and all involved from parents to students to staff to the local community and businesses.
